Born in Bowdon, Cheshire in 1959, Lindi’s career path has always been in Health/Special Needs and Education (and infact she still works in High School Education), but she is also busy as a successful published Artist (with Dorling Kindersley), exhibiting in many galleries and having success in exporting worldwide.

Lindi’s contemporary paintings are inspired by many of The Masters, and more recently, Jenny Saville.

Lindi’s artwork holds a broad spectrum of content. She is passionate about life/figurative painting; her aim being, “to provoke the viewer/s by stimulating and sharing my own sexual and personal thoughts in paint; Her intention, to move her audience enough to ‘lose’ themselves in what they see.”

As a Contemporary Artist, her paintings are increasingly sought after by both Private and Corporate bodies. She mainly works in acrylics and/or mixed media, although thankfully, is able to lend her hand to artworks in various mediums, which is more refreshing than being tied to one style or subject matter.

The art of ‘Words/Quotes/Calligraphy’ has always had a fascination for Lindi and she gains huge inspiration from this wide source and loves the challenge of interpreting them in her paintings and will often incorporate textures into these designs.

Signed and dated Limited Edition Giclee Prints (Ltd to 100) are available of many of her paintings and much of her time is devoted to her commission enquiries.
