Artists Description

Quaint Cumbrian cottages in the hamlet of Outgate. As we walked towards Hawkshead,down the lane at the end, I would have missed them if I hadn’t spotted the red phonebox!. The cottages overlook a field across to the village pub. Judy Boyes painted the scene and used artistic licence to move the fells nearer, as I have done. Double mounted
