Artists Description

This old Irish man is
nearly hanging over the half-door
of his thatched cottage,
enjoying his cigarette,
watching the world go by.
His steadfast old bicycle,
now painted blue all over,
awaits the privelege of delivering
him to his local pub.
I painted the blue bicycle
with palette knives and used a syringe to outline the bicycle and other finer parts of this semi-abstract.
