Outdoor Mosaic weekend
5th & 6th May 2013. A mosaic workshop focusing specifically on frost resistant outdoor mosaics, in anticipation of a glorious summer in the garden. This craft course uses such diverse materials as slate, plant pots and concrete along with stones, porcelain and glass to create stepping stones, bird baths or wall slates.
Exploring Spring Colour
This course will help you understand and explore the colour aspects of your watercolour painting. It is aimed to help balance technique and freedom in your work. The early spring garden at Ness is our main inspiration for developing your painting, composition and design skills but we will also look at other artists’ work for ideas.
Sketchbook Development
Sketchbook work can be the centre of a painter’s work, where ideas are tried out and worked on creatively. This course shows you how to create a highly personal sketchbook which will be a thing of beauty & inspiration in its own right!
